Montgomery County
Library and Information Network Consortium
State Sen. Connie Williams presented a check for $10,000 to the
Montgomery County Library and Information Consortium (MCLINC). The check
was issued by the Department of Community and Economic Development and
will be used for a pilot project to introduce wireless access services
to the public at the Upper Merion Library. Library patrons are now able
to use their own laptops or PDAs in the library. Pictured are (from
left): Karl Helicher, director Upper Merion Township Library; Maryam
Phillips, MCLINC System Administrator; and Senator Williams.
