SENATOR WILLIAMS ANNOUNCES 16th ANNUAL PENNSYLVANIA SENIOR ARTS FESTIVAL

HARRISBURG, March 18, 2002 – State Senator Constance H. Williams today announced that the 16th annual Pennsylvania Senior Arts Festival will be held May 20 through June 20, 2002. Festival categories will include acrylic, oil, watercolor, photography, as well as several other mediums.

"I think that this event is a great opportunity for senior citizens to exhibit their artistic talents while meeting some new and interesting community members in the process," Senator Williams (D-Montgomery/Delaware) said.

The Arts Festival is open to any resident of Pennsylvania 60 years of age or older.

Registration materials will be available in early March and entries will be accepted April 1 through April 19, 2002.
