SENATOR WILLIAMS TO HOLD ONLINE CHAT ON REAPPORTIONMENT PLAN

HARRISBURG, April 19, 2002 - State Senator Constance H. Williams, (D-Montgomery/Delaware), will be available to answer questions from the general public during an online chat on Tuesday, April 23 from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. EDT. The topic of the chat will be the reapportionment plan.

To participate in the chat, log on to http://www.pasenate.com and click on the "Enter Chat Room" link which will be located at the top of the home page.

"Technology has allowed Pennsylvanians a tremendous opportunity to ask important questions directly and to get immediate answers," Williams said.

Williams has been especially involved in the reapportionment issue because Montgomery County has been more negatively impacted by the Republicans’ plan than any other voting precinct in Pennsylvania.
"I am excited to have this opportunity to hold one-on-one discussions about an issue that is so important to so many Pennsylvanians," Williams said.
