PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP RECEIVES STATE GRANT

HARRISBURG, MAY 4 – State Sen. Connie Williams announced that Plymouth Township had received a state grant to help defray the cost of a municipal inspector.

The grant of $243.28 from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection will reimburse half the costs of employing a host municipal inspector.

“I commend the township for taking the initiative to not only to conduct required inspections, but to find ways to save taxpayer money,” Williams said. “This is a good example of some of the programs the state has in place to assist municipalities in creating a strong and healthy environment for all of its residents, businesses and visitors.
