WILLIAMS PARTICIPATES IN PLYMOUTH ELEMENTARY LAW DAY

HARRISBURG, MAY 9 – State Sen. Connie Williams will serve as a teacher, mentor and guide to making law in Pennsylvania when she participates in the Law Day program at Plymouth Elementary School this week.

Williams will speak to about 115 students in the third grade at Plymouth Elementary School from approximately 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 10th in the school’s upper library.

“I believe Law Day programs are valuable as educational tools to introduce students to the legal system, and how and why laws are written,” Williams said. “The most effective citizens are educated citizens. Through Law Day programs, we begin that education at an age when children are eager to absorb knowledge and information.”

Plymouth Elementary School is in the Colonial School District. It is located at 542 Plymouth Meeting Rd., Plymouth Meeting.
