HIGH-TECH EXPANSION IN MONTGOMERY COUNTYHARRISBURG, JULY 19 – State Sen. Connie Williams credited Pennsylvania’s positive business climate and several state economic development programs as the driving force behind the recently announced decision to headquarter the high-tech firm, LiquidHub Inc. in King of Prussia. LiquidHub Inc. will create 83 new jobs over the next three years when it moves its headquarters to a new 7,135-square-foot facility in King of Prussia. The company will retain 90 existing employees. “This is exciting news for Montgomery County and for current and future residents,” Williams said. “By enticing high-tech firms to headquarter in the region, we provide new job opportunities that will allow our college graduates to stay and work in their community. All of this was made possible because the state is working with businesses to help them to grow and succeed in Pennsylvania.” The company, a systems integrator and technology consultancy firm, has secured funding through the Department of Community and Economic Development’s Small Business First Loan, Opportunity Grant and Customized Job Training programs. Founded in 2001, LiquidHub Inc. has offices in Boston, Mass. and India. |
