MONTGOMERY COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT RECEIVES GRANT

 HARRISBURG, JULY 26 – State Sen. Connie Williams announced that the Montgomery County Health Department has secured a state grant.

 The $515,208 Sewage Facilities Enforcement grant will be used to reimburse a portion of the county health department’s sewage expenses.

 “This is a good example of how the state and county can work cooperatively to protect the environment and our natural resources,” Williams said.

 The grant was awarded by the Department of Environmental Protection.
