MONTGOMERY COUNTY RECEIVES STATE GRANT

 HARRISBURG, JULY 27 – State Sen. Connie Williams announced that the Montgomery County Health Department would receive a state grant.

 The $457,384 grant under the Sewage Facilities Enforcement Grants Program will reimburse half of the eligible expenses for performing sewage enforcement activities.

 “The Montgomery County Health Department continues to set high standards and meet them,” Williams said. “I applaud the department for being good environmental stewards.”

 The Department of Environmental Protection awarded the grant.
