STATE GRANT AWARDED TO MONTGOMERY COUNTY HEALTH DEPT.

 HARRISBURG, JULY 29 – State Sen. Connie Williams announced that Montgomery County Health Department would receive a state grant to aid in safeguarding the environment.

 A $454,133 grant will be used to reimburse half the eligible expenses for sewage enforcement efforts.

 “This is a good example of how local and state government can partner for the benefit of all residents and businesses in a community,” Williams said.

 The Department of Environmental Protection awarded the grant.
