WILLIAMS APPOINTED TO ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION COMMITTEE

HARRISBURG, September 2, 2003 – State Sen. Connie Williams today announced that she has been appointed to the County Seat Economic Revitalization Committee (CSERC) in Montgomery County.

“The committee is engaged in vital work improving the economic climate in the Norristown area and attracting new and diverse businesses to stimulate the borough’s revitalization,” Williams said. “I’m enthusiastic about becoming further involved in that mission.”

CSERC is comprised of various borough, county and state officials. The organization seeks to make Norristown more attractive for business development by working with prospective business owners and municipal officials to ease the process of starting a business in Norristown.
