NEW GUIDE PROVIDES OVERVIEW OF VOTING RIGHTS

HARRISBURG, SEPT.  9 – State Sen. Connie Williams has copies of a new publication of the Department of State “Ready, set, vote” available through her district offices.

“These guides provide a basic update on recent federal and state changes that will affect voters, as well as addressing frequently asked questions, such as who may apply for an absentee ballot and how to receive assistance in voting,” Williams said. “It is a good tool for voters returning to the polls to learn about changes, as well as a resource for first-time voters.”

The 14-page booklet is available through Williams’ offices, which are located at 700 S. Henderson Road, Suite 100A in King of Prussia and in the Manoa Shopping Center, Suite 39, 1305 W. Chester Pike in Havertown.

The publications are available in both English and Spanish.
