PENNDOT INTRODUCES ONLINE CHANGE OF ADDRESS FORM HARRISBURG, September 17, 2002 - - State Senator Connie Williams today announced that PENNDOT has introduced a new service to its secure website on its menu of Driver and Vehicle Online Services. With the introduction of "Change of Address," customers can now update over the Internet their address on their personal Pennsylvania Driver’s License, Photo Identification Card, Learner’s Permit and vehicle registration. "This alternative method of updating driver and vehicle address records is fast, convenient and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week," Williams (D-Delaware/Montgomery) said. "Every public library in the Commonwealth has Internet access so all Pennsylvanians can take advantage of the new service." There are no fees for online change of address transactions. Customers wishing to change their Pennsylvania Driver’s License, Learner’s Permit or ID Card address will need to enter their date of birth, driver’s license or learner’s permit number and social security number. Vehicle registration address changes require the title number and registration plate number of the vehicle record being updated in addition to the above information.
